The Old Baptist Chapel

The Old Baptist Chapel is another gem in Tewkesbury's crown. The chapel, situated a short walk along Church Street away from Out of the Hat, started life in the 15th century as a three-bay hall house and was later adapted for worship. In 1655 it was recorded as having 120 members and is an excellent example from the period. Along with the Chapel there is a Baptist Burial Ground at the end of the alley.
