Welcome to the Out of the Hat schools pages.

Learning at Out of the Hat provides hands-on curriculum focused activities and workshops for schools, which give pupils the chance to explore, discover and enjoy local heritage and history.

Out of the Hat uses innovative and interactive displays to explore life in this Tewkesbury building, both past and present.

Pupils can experience life in 17th century Tewkesbury, the town through time, and the restoration story of this former shop and its residents, by using portable media player technology and interpretation.

A visit to Out of the Hat can help you to enrich and deliver the National Curriculum in exciting and inspiring ways.

We offer a range of cross curricular, interactive workshop sessions led by trained education staff. For details please follow the link on the left.
